ABOUT
Victoria is a French American artist, ecologist, and science communicator. Her artistic area of expertise is creating three dimensional art (anything from jewelry to large-scale installations) using reclaimed materials.
Victoria is an artist at heart with the mind and background of an ecologist. Like many, she is concerned with the over consumption prevalent in human society and has always been drawn to visual representations of this excess:
landfills, conch middens, confiscated shark fins,
Through large-scale installations & sculptures, and small scale jewelry, Victoria aims to reconnect us with nature and raise awareness about various issues like plastic pollution, biodiversity loss, sustainable seafood, and women & indigenous rights.
In her free time Victoria volunteers with Surfrider Foundation. She has lobbied congress, collected water samples for the Blue Water Task Force, Managed Community Coastal Cleanups, and assisted with the Ocean Friendly Restaurant Initiative.
